And the scene that made the change permanent

Before I saw this scene I feared my own voice, my own expression, my own thoughts.

Seeing it I realized something: the real horror wasn't in being laughed at for what I created, but in killing it inside me, before it had the chance to become anything at all.

Without this scene nothing I've written and performed would be, nor would I have tried theater, or any other type of creative endeavor.
